We have several snakes (also known as multi-core audio cables or stage boxes) available for hire. Snakes are thick multi-core cables used for connecting multiple XLR inputs (e.g. microphones, DI boxes and DJ decks) and outputs/returns (e.g. speakers, subwoofers and stage monitors) to a mixer.
Using snakes removes the need to run multiple single cables to and from the stage, as doing so can create additional tripping hazards and look unsightly, as well as take extra time to set up.
The input end consists of a stage box and the output end consists of a set of tails which connect to audio equipment, such as a mixer.
