Uses speakon input and has the ability to be daisychained to another subwoofer via speakon - this changes the impedance to a 4 ohm load. You can choose to add a subwoofer alongside your speaker(s) to take the stress of low frequencies off the speakers, giving a cleaner sound with more volume.
These are passive and require an amplifier.
